This drum is a cajon-conga-djembe hybrid. It has a 1/8 in birch head and has a passive pickup mounted inside so it can be plugged in to any amp with a ¼ in jack. But that’s not all, it has an adjustable Slap Pad (patent pending) for added sound variation. This gives the player the option of the snappy cajon loose corner effect without breaking the airtight seal of the playing surface. The wooden head never has to be tuned and is virtually impervious to the elements. This is a whole new kind of hand drum that is very versatile in the ways it can be played and the sounds that it can make.
